Well, now, Santa made it through a pea soup fog thicker than burgoo after all, courtesy of our intrepid friends of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Truth to tell, this has been one of the most dramatic of search and find fetches of Santa in some time.
No fun at all are pea soupers, and it was something special to see nothing out there but fog before those anxiously awaiting Santa in Newburyport could see the cutter's bow beginning to break through.
