This weeks match was fished on the drain in San Fulgencio and was the last match of the year. The water levels were very low and had quite a nice colour, but the fishing was very slow on the day. In first place was Dave Hill, in second place was Geoff Halvorsen , third was Ian Air and fourth was Martin Stratford.
The next match to be fished is an open one to start the new year off. It will be fished on the Eden stretch of the River Segura in Guardamar. This is the start of the matches that have been submitted to the Federation and the Medio Ambiente for 2012. Pegs will be at 9.00am to fish from 10.00 to 3.00pm.
Do not forget match anglers that your fees and information must be given to Angela by the end of the year or sooner, other wise you will not be able to match fish with the Club.
The final Sunday meeting of the Club will be on the 18th of December, Committee at 10.00 with the General Meeting at 11.00am. The first meeting of the new year will be on Sunday the 15th of January 2012.
The next Quiz night is on 31st January 2012.The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is situated just off the new roundabout near to the Repsol garage on the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar.
