The final match of the Winter League was fished on the 29th November again on the river Segura at the Eden Stretch.
The water has now receded although it is still carrying a lot of colour, the high water left a lot of sedament behind in the pegs making it very muddy under foot.
Fishing was hard on the day with the best weights coming from the slack water pegs behind the cottages.

1st Harold (H) Clarke with 8.560kg fishing pole and paste
2nd Bill (The Master) Reade with 8.000kg fishing pole and soft pellet
3rd Alan (The Chairman) Reid with 5.440kg pole and pellet

The winners of the Winter League best 8 from 11 matche’s fished
1st S Roberts with 76.5 points
2nd T Screen with 64.5 points
3rd D Hoare with 62 points
