**BREAKING NEWS!**

The European Open Beach Championship has grown from strength to strength over the last two decades, developing into the largest event of its kind anywhere in Europe. The 2013 competition will see the event celebrate its 20th anniversary with the biggest prize pot ever seen for a beach angling competition. A huge £35,000 prize fund is up for grabs with a first prize of a Brand New Car guaranteed for the European Champion! Not only that but the location of the venue will for the first ever time move away from Bridlington to the Sand-Le-Mere Holiday Village in Tunstall, East Yorkshire. This fantastic new venue will enable all the competitors to stay on site whilst enjoying a more central location for the popular beaches around Hornsea, Withernsea and Spurn Point.Besides rubbing shoulders with anglers from Ireland, Belgium, Greece, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal and France, each angler will be able to pick up valuable information, tactics, skills and new techniques. The 2013 event once again includes the extremely popular EOBC Flattie Bash, a measure and return event that will be held on Friday 8th March. This will be a chance for anglers to get together before the main event at the weekend for a fun and enjoyable competition. The EOBC Flattie Bash will be held on Hornsea North beach and will be a great opportunity to win fantastic cash and tackle prizes. The whole three day event is a superb way of networking with sea angling friends and is an opportunity simply not to be missed!
