Generous sponsorship by GB.Angling proprietor Pat Degg has added an extra incentive to the Mere Angling Club’s newly formed Ladies League.

Prizes are now on offer for the winner of each match with a tackle voucher being awarded to the overall winner of the league.

The next match in this ladies open series is on Saturday March 24 at the Yacht Pond the draw for which is at 9am prior to fishing 10am until 3pm.

The first leg of Scarborough Mere Angling Club’s inter-club competition with Malton & Norton AC is on Sunday March 25 at the Yacht Pond with the return leg being staged on Cedar Lake at Sessay is on Sunday April 29.

The timing of both events is the usual 9am draw followed by fishing 10am until 3pm.

Contemptibles please note that this Friday’s match originally pencilled in for the Yacht Pond will now be fished at Primrose Valley boating lake, draw 8-45am.
