Sea Angling in Northern Ireland Survey

Sea Angling in Northern Ireland

We would like to invite ALL sea anglers who fish from the shore or boats, beginners and experts, to participate in this survey prepared by the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute. We want to get a better understanding of how the Northern Ireland coastline is used by recreational sea anglers and what is important to them.

By providing us with the information requested you can help us gain a better understanding of the state of our fish stocks, the areas which are important to anglers around the Northern Ireland coast, your environmental concerns and the socio-economic importance of recreational sea angling to Northern Ireland.

The results from this survey will be passed to policy makers to ensure the needs of sea anglers are represented as effectively as possible in future marine policy developments.

We encourage all anglers to help us in this survey, which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. The survey is completely anonymous and the information collected will only be used for the stated purpose.

If you have any questions regarding the survey please do not hesitate to contact us at angling@afbini.gov.uk or on (028)90 255 297

This work is part of the Northern Ireland Inshore Fisheries project which is funded by the European Fisheries Fund.
