Angling: Guest defies snow and wind to win pairs event
Dean Guest defied snow and wind to finish top individual in the second match of the Leicester Sensas pairs series.
Conditions on the Grand Union Canal, Loughborough, were extremely difficult with the fish unwilling to leave the waters.
Guest, of Leicester Sensas, had a steady run of roach on joker, plus some perch, for 4lb 10oz.
Second another was Leicester Sensas man, Toby Bunting, who finished with 4-07 of roach and perch over joker.

Third place went to in-form Pete Scott, also Leicester Sensas, with 3-12, followed by Steve Woollard, of Trentmen, who took 3-11.
With an incredible total of just five points, Scott and Leicester Sensas team-mate Mark Godfrey won the pairs event.
Second place was shared between Darren Bickerton and Woollard, and Stu Naylor and Chris Marks, who both recorded 13 points.
Darren Massey and Darren Lewis just missed out on a top-three place by a point.
Rob Quinn and Jason Cunningham, and Tonny Barker and Andy Beasley, managed 16 points.
Phil Hull (Lanes Bait & Tackle) triumphed in the Wednesday Nisa Open at Dynamite Makins.
Hull hauled in an all roach catch for 15-12, which put him well clear of second-placed John Adamson (NISA Feeders), who took 8-12. George Fisher (Makins Select) took 6-14 for third.
The same two took the honours in the Thursday Nisa Open. Hull topped again with 23-14 of roach and bream hybrids, plus some perch.
Adamson, with 14-10, took second with roach to 12oz on maggot over loose-fed maggot.

Jackson said: "I have been a pike angler all my life and to be approached and asked by the PAC to run the Leicestershire branch is a massive honour."
